Take on the role of a lone astronaut venturing from planet to planet between mysterious slipgates. Enjoy different musical and graphical themes, as well as some minor puzzles as you progress through the worlds.
Exoterrestrial is a game inspired by this game jam's theme, and started out as a small sample test. I began developing it late, about 5-6 days after the jam started, and over time, I added more and more to it all the way up until the submission date.
It's a small demo of a walking-simulator/exploration game where you take the role of an astronaut travelling from planet to planet between slipgates. Since the theme was 'A Different Planet', I thought of travelling to a different planet for each level of the game.

I liked the game! Music was good and fitting and I liked all the different sprites that were used. I did find Sulpheria frustrating though. I felt like I was just wandering from circle to circle. I actually couldn't get past it. I kept getting stuck on the other side of the barrier from the exit.

Thanks for the feedback! I can see where you're coming from with the frustration, haha. It's a pretty chaotic level and the puzzle is no exception, so I can agree with you there. I'm glad you enjoyed some of your time playing though!
I did like it! I spent more time in this game than most of the other game jam games. So many good pieces from this game, and it feels like it has quite a bit of polish for a game jam game!
